THE COWGIRL IN CHARGE
“While still in college, I acted as a buyer for the Harry’s Boots store and also began running their social media platforms. After graduating, I never would have thought that I’d end up back in San Saba, running the family western store, but every day truly brings new adventures, laughs, and challenges.
That being said, I still wouldn’t say I am your typical “cowgirl” (I honestly don’t remember the last time I rode a horse). However, you can catch me traipsing about barefoot, trotline fishing, and kicking up my boots to listen to some good old country music from time to time.
And, speaking of boots, as one would imagine, I have quite the collection! Currently I own 43 pairs of boots (which is way too many) and I can’t resist a new style in my favorite color blue. My collection of hats also grows every felt season- especially with the build out of our new custom hat shaping saloon.
In the store, we have recently been finalizing the massive undertaking of re-modeling the store, in which we focused on exposing the original bones and authentic design for 3 of the 5 buildings. Since 1939, Harry’s Boots has not only been a destination for travelers to San Saba but a home away from home and a great place to spend time with friends for many of the locals.
I wouldn’t survive this crazy life of retail without my Harry’s Family and am extremely blessed to be a part of the amazing community that San Saba has to offer. Thank you for your continued support as we strive to provide our customers with the best selection of Western wear and customer service in the Lone Star state!
With love from myself and the Harry’s Boots family,
Karoline Jordan
